Once upon a time…

(isn’t that how all great stories start?) 

Dad brought me a chair. 

I thought it was cute. A cute chair disguised in dirt splash and bird poo. It was last used to replace the lamp in a fixture outside a garage. And there it stayed.

Now there were two chairs at my second-hand dining table….that didn’t match…but that I loved. 

Shortly after, another chair needed a new home. It tabled a basket for mail outside the VP’s door. Now I had three. And so it began. The attraction to chairs.

To make them pretty again.

Maybe prettier.
